MATERIALS
- 5 grams sodium alginate
- 5 grams of calcium chloride
- Water-soluble dye (can be powder or food colouring)
- Water
- A dropper bottle or a syringe
(SOLUTION A)
STEP 1:
Pour 5 grams of sodium alginate into 500ml of water. Stir well for a long time. You may have to stir for 30 minutes.
STEP 2:
Divide the solution into several smaller vessels
STEP 3:
Pour food colouring into each glass and stir.
STEP 4:
Put each glass in a dropper bottle or in a 10, 20ml syringe.
(SOLUTION B)
STEP 5
In another container, add 5 grams of calcium chloride to 500ml of water. Stir well, it will be easy and quick
STEP 6:
Now pour the contents of SOLUTION A into SOLUTION B.
